From today, Oct 29th, 2009. The 12114 wireless keywords rolls out the sunrise period. the China IDN .mobi will be bundled with the IDN 12114 wireless keywords. At the same time, 12114 enable ASCII only wireless keywords, which will have no binding with .mobi.
Just form the price aspects, it is too high, IMO. Here is the price from DNS.com.cn
1. SUNRISE Period
RMB 5,000 each year, must register two year with 10,000 (about $1,460)
Plus another RMB 1,000 no refundable trademark review fees.
2. Non SunRise period
IDN: Class A, RMB 5,000 each year
IDN: Class B, RMB 3,600 each year
IDN: Class C, RMB 1,800 each year
ASCII: Class A, RMB 4,800 each year
ASCII: Class B, RMB 3,200 each year
ASCII: Class C, RMB 1,200 each year
The cheapest one is about $176 each per year! I can register ten or twenty more .mobi with that a mount of money.
